Legalnaut

Case intelligence workspace · For litigation teams

Every fact in your case, anchored to its page

Legalnaut reads the whole case file, scans, email and recordings included, and builds the working file your team argues from: a chronology with each fact pinned to its page, each witness’s claims next to the documents that contradict them, and a proof chart showing which issue still has no evidence.

No card for the trial · 1,000 pages of analysis · Unlimited users on every plan

Busts of the parties and witnesses in a library, each tied by a line to its document, with structured facts, a chronology and an evidence gap drawn beside them

The evidence is already in the file. Finding it is the expensive part.

Litigators spend weeks reading bundles to answer three questions: what happened, who said what, and what can we prove. A chatbot over your PDFs saves no time if nobody can check its answers, and courts keep sanctioning filings that quote cases an AI made up. Legalnaut is built the other way round. Every fact, quotation and AI sentence points back to a page you can open.

From a box of files to a hearing, in five steps

Each step works from the same records, so a fact found in step two is the same fact in the bundle and the draft.

  1. 01

    Read the file once

Drop in a ZIP, a mailbox export or forwarded mail. Legalnaut runs OCR on scans, transcribes recordings, and skips any file already in the case by its fingerprint.

  2. 02

    Know what happened

Dates, people and events from every document land on one timeline. Each entry keeps the document, the page and the sentence it came from.

  3. 03

    Find where the accounts disagree

Legalnaut splits statements into claims and checks each one against the whole file. A contradiction shows up as two quotations side by side. The software suggests, and a lawyer confirms.

  4. 04

    Prove it

A proof chart puts each issue next to the exhibits that carry it and marks the issues nothing carries yet. Export the chronology, the statement of facts or one indexed evidence bundle.

  5. 05

    Prepare the hearing

A dossier for each witness, an examination outline built from it, and procedural deadlines computed from the provision and the date of service.

See it on a real case file

The demo matter holds 116 documents from the public court record in Epic Games v. Apple. Every screen below runs on that file.

Nothing goes in a filing unverified

Every draft and every AI assistant answer runs through a citation check before you read it. The check confirms the document exists, you are allowed to see it, the page is there and the quoted words appear in the cited source. Anything a model wrote stays labelled as a draft.

  • Pin-cites to the page. One click opens the document on that page with the passage highlighted.
  • Quotations stay in their original language, because a translated quotation stops being a quotation.
  • The AI assistant searches and reads the records in front of you, and every sentence names its document and page.

Fact

The defendant had notice of the risk.

“We are aware the guard rail on level 2 is loose and will schedule a repair.”

Where your case file lives

A case file holds privileged and personal material. Here is who touches it.

Read the security page
Stored in Germany
Case files live on Hetzner servers in Falkenstein, in a data centre certified to ISO/IEC 27001.
SOC 2 Type II operator
Legalnaut is run by A2Z Web, which holds SOC 2 Type II certification. GDPR and PDPA apply.
No training on your material
Document analysis runs at OpenAI and Anthropic under terms that prohibit training on customer content.
Evidence nobody can rewrite
Every file gets a sha256 fingerprint on arrival, and every consequential action lands in an audit log that the people it records cannot edit.

Run one real case file through it

The trial includes 1,000 pages of analysis, enough to read a real case file and see its chronology, contradictions and gaps.
